Product is a kind of disposable sterile product, it is mainly composed of medical hot melt glue, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), and a good air permeability medical PU. Hydrocolloid dressings are soft,light, smooth, firm, not irritant to the skin, etc, is one of the best products to absorb the wound exudates.
After absorbing the exudates, the hydrophilic particles (CMC)in the dressing can form semi-solid materials similar to gels, adhere to the surface of the wound, and provide and maintain a moist environment to wound healing. Meanwhile, the contact layer will form a gel when absorb the exudates, it is easy to remove and does not stick to the wound. Hydrocolloid dressing can absorb and lock the exudates into the dressing, and have the debridement function. It is sticky, and can form occlusive surface. The occlusive healing environment can promote the proliferation of micro vessels and the formation of granulation tissue. It is beneficial to scavenging necrotic tissue of macrophages to accelerate wound healing.
