A Hydrocolloid Dressing is a sterile, conformable wound care solution designed to protect compromised skin and support natural healing mechanics. Frequently integrated into clinical protocols and retail medical lines as a high-performance Hydrocolloid Plaster, this dressing is manufactured in extra-thin profiles, with integrated borders, or with a foam-backed layer to seamlessly adapt to diverse wound topographies and exudate levels. 

The advanced efficacy of our Hydrocolloid Plaster range relies on a sophisticated multi-layer matrix engineered from the top down for security, breathability, and cushion:

• High-Permeability Waterproof PU Film: Serves as the outermost layer, acting as a reliable waterproof and bacteria-blocking barrier while maintaining high breathability for safe skin protection.

• Soft Polyurethane (PU) Foam Layer: Provides high cushioning and non-woven soft comfort to the patient, delivering increased absorbency and excellent exudate management.

• Advanced Hydrocolloid Matrix: The primary contact layer that turns into a cohesive gel upon direct contact with wound exudate. This gel formulation creates an optimal moist microenvironment that encourages natural cleaning and healing processes while offering ideal protection for granulation and epithelialization phases.

When applied as instructed, the complete dressing remains completely impermeable to water and blocks the passage of external bacteria to minimize secondary infection risks. 

This conformable dressing is explicitly indicated for the prevention and treatment of skin lesions during the granulation and epithelialization healing phases, particularly wounds accompanied by low to moderate exudate. It serves as an ideal primary layer for:

• Pressure ulcers and chronic venous ulcers of the lower extremities.

• Post-surgical wounds and clean incision closures.

• Traumatic wounds, skin tears, and superficial abrasions.

• Critical donor sites and skin graft recovery areas.

• Superficial first and second-degree thermal burns.
