Step 1: Clean the wound - Thoroughly cleanse the wound area with sterile saline or an appropriate wound flush to remove dirt and debris before application.

Step 2: Cover the dressing on the wound - Open the sterile pouch, peel away the protective backing, and gently apply the Manuka honey gauze directly over the wound bed.

Step 3: Wrap with gauze - Cover with an appropriate secondary absorbent pad and secure firmly in place using a conforming bandage or cohesive wrap.

Dressing Change & Removal Tips:

Dressing Change Frequency: Change daily for heavily exuding wounds. Reduce dressing changes to every 2–3 days as the wound begins to heal and exudate decreases, or as directed by a veterinarian.

Gentle Removal: Remove slowly and gently using tweezers or gloved hands. If the dressing adheres to a dry wound surface, lightly moisten it with sterile saline for pain-free removal without disrupting new tissue growth.
